The school offers pupils two opportunities to participate in residential school journeys. These take place in the Summer Term and extend the school curriculum. In addition, they offer pupils the chance to develop their independence by staying away from home for a few nights.
Pupils, as from 2018, in Year 5 will be taken to Ufton Court for 3 days which is a large country house with extensive grounds and sports facilities.The visit is fully catered for and pupils are served delicious freshly cooked meals in the wood panelled dining room. Bedrooms are warm and cosy, varying in size from 2 to 5 beds. Approximate cost £TBC
In Year 6 pupils are taken to a PGL centre on the Isle of Wight for 5 days. Again, the extensive grounds provide excellent opportunities to participate in sporting activities that we are unable to offer in school. In addition pupils visit several places of historical and geographical interest to enhance the Year 6 curriculum. Pupils are accomodated in beautiful wooden chalets and all meals are taken in the refectory. Approximate Cost £440.
