Little Chalfont Nature Park - a hidden gem in the Chilterns
The new community Nature Park is now officially open. It is a very special place in Little Chalfont, where everyone can enjoy a tranquil environment with rare grasslands and trees, and a wide range of flowers and wildlife.

The school has been very active in supporting the Nature Park. We have sponsored the story telling chair (soon to be installed); many of our parents have funded the park and sponsored the wonderful benches and special areas of the park. Our teachers, Mr Norton and Mrs Thorner have advised on the education pages of the website, so there are wonderful worksheets to help our classes learn about the plants, trees, animals, mini-beasts, insects and birds in the Nature Park.
One of our governors, Mrs Sarah Jameson, has been a member of the Action Group which has guided the creation of our Nature Park.
So, come and find out about special local customs such as Cherry Pie Sunday and Prestwood Black cherries and enjoy our great community Nature Park!
