At Little Chalfont Primary School (LCPS) we offer full wrap-around care from 7.30am to 6.00pm. Please see below for details of our breakfast club and after-school wrap-around care (WAC) provision.

Breakfast Club

Our breakfast club is co-ordinated and operated via LCPS staff.

Timings:

Breakfast club runs from 7:30am to 8:30am for children in years 1 – 6 and from 7:30am to 9:00am for children in years Nursery and Reception.

Food:

Children are provided with a breakfast meal (cereal, milk and toast as chosen).

Charges:

The charges per session for breakfast club are currently (2025-2026) as follows:

• £6.50 for years 1 – 6
• £9.50 for years Nursery and Reception.

However, these charges will change to £10.00 per session for all year groups in the academic year 2026 – 2027, to fall in-line with the Chess Valley Primary Learning Trust charges.

Booking:

To attend breakfast club, registration is essential as spaces are limited to ensure the safety of all children in our care. If you would like to apply for a space, please download and complete the registration form at the bottom of this page, and return it to the office. Once we have received your completed form, we will contact you to confirm whether a place is available for your child. If there is no place available, we will put your child on a waiting list.

Please note: Nursery places are strictly offered at the discretion of the school staff, on a case-by-case basis, depending on the individual child’s readiness to attend extended hours of care.

After-School Wrap-Around Care

At LCPS we have partnered with Premier Education to provide after-school wrap-around care. Premier Education are Ofsted registered and offer a range of stimulating activities in a safe, secure and fun environment, aiming to provide an outstanding service for busy parents.

Staff will adapt each day’s activities to the children’s needs or the weather. However, the timings and structure of each day remains consistent. Activities will be designed to fit with the school's termly themes and can include arts and crafts, baking, sports, Lego, games, quiet reading and general free play.

Food:

A healthy snack will be provided for all children who are staying until 6pm. Other children are welcome to bring their own fruit snack to eat. Please remember that LCPS is a nut and sesame-free school.

Timing and Charges:

4.15pm – 6:00pm £8.00

3:15pm – 6:00pm £14.00

Booking your child's place:

All bookings must be made online, and you can do so by following the link here: Premier Education Wrap-around Care Bookings

When you book online, you can opt to pay with a card or childcare vouchers. If you would like to pay with childcare vouchers (CCV), you will need to add your preferred providers to your child's profile, which can be found in 'My Family'. As soon as this has been updated, you will be able to choose your provider under payment method. Collection procedure:

Collection between 3:15pm – 4:30pm: please buzz the school office at the gate, and you will be allowed access to the site as normal.

Collection after 4:30pm: the gate will be open for you to push (our contact number will be displayed at the gate if you need to contact us). Once you reach the main entrance door, ring the bell or call the team to notify a member of our team you are at the door.

We are grateful for your patience during the collection process as staff will be occupied delivering activities or preparing food for the afternoon snack, as well as retrieving your child for collection.

What's on each week at wrap-around care?

You can view the planned activities schedule for the forthcoming week on the Premier Education WAC timetable at the bottom of this page. If children do not want to take part in the main activity offered, they will have the opportunity to take part in other Premier Education-led sports clubs, games and general free play, depending on availability.

Premier Education also offer a variety of after-school sports activities; booking can be accessed here: Premier Education After School Sports Club Bookings. Flyers for all Premier Education clubs can also be found under the extracurricular clubs tab of the LCPS website.  

Don't forget that Premier Education sports clubs are available throughout the half-term as well. You can book online (pending availability) at any time.

Spaces are limited, therefore, if your child hasn't already booked a place for these sessions, we encourage you to do so soon.
