During April 2021, we decided to launch our incredible edible garden project. Rebecca Tate (a keen gardener and parent volunteer) designed the garden and researched the types of fruit and vegetables, as well as the infrastructure, to put together the below plan.

The Amersham and Villages Community Board's fund kindly contributed to the project and we also used some catch-up funding to set up the project.

Rebecca linked with Chorleywood Primary School in the next village, to research effective ideas based on their allotment style garden that was well established, as well as looking at the best of what is out there nationally in community and school gardening, to get everyone inspired and on board!
