Performance Review Governors (PRG) = Simon Barrett & Caroline Osborne.
For Complaints, HR Related and Pupil Discipline Committees, Governors who have prior knowledge or a conflict of interest or loyalty would not agree to join the committee. No Governor can sit on an appeal panel if they were involved in the original decision.
The full Governing Body, Resources and Pupils Committees are clerked by Jo Pearce who is employed by the school for such purposes.
Appeals panel will comprise one governor and an officer from Human Resources.
Governors Equality Objectives
The Governors at Little Chalfont Primary School aim to make our school as inclusive and equal as possible. Please take a look at the objectives which underpin our ethos.
Governor Vacancies
We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of Governors, both parents and non-parents, who generously give their time to support the school in various capacities. These individuals play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the school and contributing to its overall success.
We currently have two vacancies on the Governing Body for Parent Governors at our school. Becoming a Parent Governor offers you the opportunity to make a real contribution to the life and work of our school.
Governors play a key role in the leadership of the school and work together with the Head, staff and other governors to ensure that our school provides a challenging and supportive environment for its pupils.
All parents and carers of registered students are eligible to become Parent Governors. The usual term of office is four years from the date of appointment. If you would like to put your name forward, please email office@littlechalfont.bucks.sch.uk FAO: Mr Hacking. Please include a statement stating why you would like to be a governor (no more than 150 words).
If more than two nominations are received, an election will be held, and the ballot papers will be sent to all parents and carers. For further information on the Governing Body click here.
