LCPS VIAM Audition Video

The video performance that got us on the stage at Wembley Arena for VIAM in the spring!

Annual Music Celebration

Every summer, the school celebrates the wide range of musical talent found among our excellent children. Parents, staff and the wider community come together to enjoy an evening of outstanding performances across a range of instruments.

Singing Assemblies

Every Thursday, the school comes together to sing with Mrs Langdale and Mr Kilcoyne. The children learn traditional and topical songs suitable for the time of year including Harvest Festival and Christmas. The amazing outcomes of these weekly sessions have been shared with the community at events, including our Carol-Sing-Along.

Voice in a Million

In March, Year 6 children joined others from around the country to sing together at Wembley Arena. The spectacle was enjoyed by children, parents and staff alike. Such was the success of the event, children from Years 4, 5 and 6 will be participating in 2024.

Music lessons take place within the given times and can be from 15 minutes to 30 minutes in length.  Music teachers will rotate lesson times where possible so that children do not always miss the same part of the same lesson.

Rock and Pop lessons are offered from Year 2 upwards, as are violin and piano. For all other instruments lessons are offered from Year 3, and children will need to meet with the teacher after their initial application to check they are physically ready to start. This will look at things such as the number of adult front teeth needed, and arm length. Lessons could be individual or in a group and the cost will vary accordingly. Up to date costs will be available from the lesson providers.
