Aims

• To provide high quality research-based education for every child, offering a broad, balanced and stimulating curriculum, motivating every child to learn as well as possible.
• To develop resilience in our children to develop the best in themselves and to appreciate and respect other people.
• To provide a happy, secure and supportive environment in which children will develop the confidence, responsibility and flexibility to face the challenges they will meet within the school and in the wider community.
• To encourage staff by providing opportunities for professional and personal development and by promoting a mutually supportive atmosphere in the school.

At Little Chalfont Primary School we are: Ready. Respectful. Resilient.

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

As a school community, we agreed on our key values: excellence, inclusion, honesty, creativity & innovation, curiosity, collaboration & co-operation, resilience & well-being, respect, tolerance and kindness.

We are trying very hard to reflect and adhere to these values in everything we do both at school and in our time away from school. We have combined these values into our statement: Ready. Respectful. Resilient. This helps us to remember and work by our values everyday across the school.

We ensure, to the best of our ability, to make the opportunities for learning, play, sports and social development available to each and everyone of our pupils. We encourage and support all pupils to take part in all learning and activities on offer, in a safe, happy and caring environment.   

We hope and trust that all of our pupils are enjoying their time in school this year and are working hard to be the best they can be. The school community is working hard to bring out the best in us all.
